I have enjoyed millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of cash at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or defeat the casino, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a number of days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the runs you notice gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 bet
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
