I have played millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of bankroll at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting at times. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original $5 wager
Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
