I have wagered on countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of cash at 21. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $10 wager
Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $40 wager
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $80 bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
