I have bet on countless of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that 21 appears to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 60 mins using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
