I have played countless of rounds of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost a lot of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that 21 appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very fun at times. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a few days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80
Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
