I have wagered on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this tactic or beat the house, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy 21. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a few years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first $80 wager
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you left at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
